In 1825, Michael Solomon Alexander, a Prussian-born Ashkenazi Jew having made his home in England, was converted to Christianity. He soon joined the Jews' Society [for the "cobersion" of Jews] and represented it in Prussia, but this mission was a failure as far as the number of converts was concerned. Alexander returned to England, in the very year that the Apostolic Church was founded (1830). For a dozen years he worked on creating the Revised Version of the New Testament -- essentially the Westcott & Hort translation. (This is proof that Alexander was at least a pawn of the English Rosicrucians, because Westcott was a disguised Satanist in the Anglican clergy and very much involved in secret societies with the Rothschilds and Arthur Balfour. At least one website reports that Westcott was "a master mason and secretary general of the Rosicrucian Society of England.")
Then, in 1841, England and Prussia came forth jointly with an amazing announcement -- they were setting up a Protestant bishopric in Jerusalem. And none other than [converted Jew] Michael Alexander was chosen to occupy this position, appointed by queen Victoria no less!
There are historians who say that this Jerusalem bishopric was fully the idea of king Frederick William IV of Prussia, and not at all of the Anglicans, but others are not so naive. Clearly, the Jews' Society was at the root of the scheme, and Zionist supporters within the German Rothschilds' circle may have had everything to do with persuading Frederick and his Lutherans to have a Protestant representative in Jerusalem.
We know that the Jews' Society was involved with Alexander's [crypto-Jewish] Bishopric because, in an official statement apologizing for the scheme, we read in part, that "the venerable Earl of Shaftesbury, brought [the bishopric] the support of numerous friends". Indeed, Lord Shaftesbury was the Jews' Society's President! Shaftesbury's father in law, Lord Palmerston, was the British Foreign Secretary. In 1840, only two years prior to Alexander assuming the bishopric, Palmerston began to take an outspoken interest in Zionism, announcing officially that Jews should re-settle Palestine, while Shaftesbury, the recognized political leader of the British Zionist thrust, wrote such things as, "it may be safely asserted that [Jews] contemplate a restoration to the soil of Palestine"
One can't help but notice the timing of the Palmerston statement, just as the Jerusalem bishopric was being readied for implementation. Palmerston wielded British troops in Palestine in 1840, and a British Consulate was founded in Jerusalem by Shaftesbury in 1842. How could the Rothschilds not have been involved in this scheme, either for it or opposed? If they did not show disapproval, we could infer that they must have approved it. And if the Rothschilds supported it, we'd expect Freemasons to support it also.
The following quote confirms the fact that members of "the fraternity of
Freemasons" were involved in it with Palmerston and Shaftesbury:
Lord Palmerston the British Foreign Secretary, in August 1840, at the instigation of Lord [Shaftesbury], requested permission from the Ottoman Sultan Abdulmecit (1839-61) for the return of British Jews to Ottoman Palestine (part of the Ottoman province of Syria), the support for this enterprise to come in Palmerston's words, from "the freemasonry fraternity"...The Sultan rejected this request" (http://www.turkishdailynews.com/old_editions/09_19_03/feature.htm)
The settlement of Jews in Jerusalem was being paved long before the events related to this bishopric. In the early 1820s, the Jews' Society recruited John (Hans) Nicolayson from Berlin (in Prussia at the time) and shipped him off to London for training (1823). Three years later, he was ready for his first trip to Jerusalem, where he became the Society's chief of operations in Palestine. Under his leadership, the Jews' Society built "Christ Church," within the walls of Old Jerusalem -- an eye-shot from the site of the Temple. It must have been an important event in the eyes of Freemasons around the world, because even Lord Shaftesbury was involved in its building. Can we ask, therefore, if the Jerusalem bishopric and Christ Church were intended to work as team, in place in time for the Restoration-of-Israel celebration anticipated at some point in the 1840s? Nicolayson's group remained in Jerusalem throughout this time, but their hopes had failed, because the Ottoman Empire wouldn't go along [with Britain's wishes] -- it didn't like the idea of any one group settling Israel.
