How about having "work projects" that grow food, catch fish etc.

Why is it that in South Korea they have ample food. Elders in South Korea
are treated with respect, not starved. Could it be that Communism is a
failure?
<<High-protein biscuits will now be given to secondary-school-age children
while they are in class -- to make sure they don't bring the food home and
share it with their families, said WFP spokeswoman Abbey Spring.>>
Yes, break up the family unit even more, it is the Statist way.
<< Even in years where natural disasters are absent, North Korea lacks about 1
million tons of food to feed its people, according to crop assessments
carried out by the WFP and the Food and Agriculture Organization.>>
Grow more food, don't beg. Japan has little arable land, yet feeds it's
population with no problem, but then again they are not Communists.
<< Earlier this month, North Korea entered what is considered the most
difficult
few months of the year, when food from the last harvest runs out and the new
crop of potatoes and vegetables isn't yet available. Until the first crops
are harvested in June, many North Koreans are forced to rely on wild food or
cakes made of bark or tree leaves that contain little or no nutritional
value, WFP said. >>
Seems to me this is just more propaganda to invoke an emotional response to
bad management of their available assets. We give them money so they can eat
and use their money for weapon systems just like the Russians. Are we again
going to feed them while their government plots against us?
