I don't read everything that's posted. If I'm away from the Net for a few days
and the posts back up, I go through and selectively delete threads I know I'm
not really going to be interested in. On a normal day, I tend to skim the
posts, check out the first few lines, and decide if a given message is going
to be worth reading. Stuff that's too wacko (unless it's *really* wacko, in
which case I probably will read it) or too racist or too partisan I generally
skip. If I'm involved in a particular thread, obviously I'll read all of that.
Re-posts of old material I usually don't read--it's already in my archive if I
wanted to keep it. Above all, just remember that you are under no obligation
to read everything. Did you sign a contract in blood that stipulated "I hereby
pledge, on pain of xxxxxxx, to faithfully read and absorb all materials posted
to The List"? I seriously doubt it...unless Kris is into Something He's Not
Telling The Rest Of Us About... :^D

CTRL is a discussion and informational exchange list. Proselyzting propagandic
screeds are not allowed. Substancenot soapboxing! These are sordid matters
and 'conspiracy theory', with its many half-truths, misdirections and outright
frauds is used politically by different groups with major and minor effects
spread throughout the spectrum of time and thought. That being said, CTRL
gives no endorsement to the validity of posts, and always suggests to readers;
be wary of what you read. CTRL gives no credeence to Holocaust denial and
nazi's need not apply.
