Judge approves settlement in Kentucky clergy sex abuse case (Louisville, Kentucky-AP) 1/31/06 - A judge has approved a deal to settle hundreds of sex abuse claims against the Roman Catholic Diocese of Covington, Kentucky. Judge John Potter cited a desire by the diocese to make reparations in his ruling that approved a settlement of up to $85 million.
