This team saved thousands of American lives today by turning off the power
for the trains and keeping the trains from sailing into a scripted
Terrorist attack.
This is all rather vague....
Just WHERE was this alleged attack supposed to have taken place? It seem to
me that having thousands of commuters trapped in the Lincoln Tunnel when the
power died made them a perfect target for a terrorist attack, rather than
making them safer....
Four individuals of Indian descent are now being held by U.S. Marshals in
Connecticut. They are being questioned by FBI agents vis a vis the U.S.
rail fiasco that occurred today.
All four Indians are claiming to be employees of U.S. Homeland Security
a.k.a. Michael Chertoff,
Not clear whether the author is referring to Native Americans, or people
from the Indian subcontinent....

How so?
BTW, nothing about these so-called "Indian" agents being held by Federal
Marshall has been mentioned by any media outlet here in Connecticut....
And just to clarify matters, Connecticut wasn't affected by the Amtrak power
outage on Thursday; the power outage occurred between NYC and Baltimore.
Both Amtrak and MetroNorth (which has separate tracks) continued to run here
in CT, as they did north of NYC.
It seems to me that if a terrorist group wanted to bomb a U.S. train, and
create the most "bang for the buck" by creating the largest amount of
casualities, they wouldn't be bombing open tracks but instead targeting an
enclosed space like a major station or a tunnel.
Trapping thousands of commuters in those stations and tunnels by turning the
power off would make them MORE vulnerable, not less so.
If the outage was indeed done on purpose for that purpose, all I can say is
"Thanks, but we don't need that kind of help"....
