There's a growing unrest, spreading out cross the land,

as the little war king, strikes a line in the sand.

In the east and the west, and the north and the south,

we hear words of malice, spill out of that mouth.



With hand on the trigger, he readies his site,

preparing for battle, just aching to fight.

His friends in the biz, won't let him back down,

they're yanking the strings, that make him dance round.



With short sighted goals, an objective that's clear,

they anxiously wait, as the time line draws near.

Protestors picket, not pleased with the man,

they want to know why, a war he would plan.



"Just please tell us why, can't you give us a clue,

do you have any proof,  a mere photo would do.

Your constant insistence, must surely have merit,

don't lead us about, like a horse with a carrot."



We're not all that stupid, to believe what you say,

so cut us some slack, let truth rule the day.

If you want us to back you, stop playing us dude,

it's not very nice, and it's really quite rude.



Your planned propaganda, on the tube everyday,

a constant reminder, of the price we will pay.

Our family's life blood, and a future gone bad,

will strengthen resolve, and make us all mad.



If it all goes as planned, your friends will be happy,

but the people you harm, their lives will turn crappy.

But what if it all, should go terribly wrong,

and your war drags us down, and lasts way to long ?



Or what happens if, the unspeakable's done

and you light up the world, with the heat of the sun ?

You and your friends, will be safe, warm, and inside,

while the rest of us here, will find no place to hide.



You're risking it all, to get at that crude,

are you really so eager, to make us worm food ?

Consider the options, the world has been asking,

stop coving up, we're tired of your masking.



There's really one choice, so pick the right path,

it's peace or it's war, can you do the math ?

The fate of the world, has been placed in your lap,

a world filled with peace, or the evil's one's trap ?
