Beware Of Felix Rohatyn!

| (Conspiracy Nation, 08/27/06) -- Felix Rohatyn (image, left) may be a very fine person. Who knows? On the other hand, The Wacky Frenchman (Lyndon LaRouche) and his entourage have been screaming lately about Rohatyn. "Beware Of Felix Rohatyn!" is the general LaRouchian theme.
In the past, the LaRouchies had been sounding the alarm about Henry Kissinger. And sure enough, when you add up the numbers in Kissinger's name you get "666." (Preliminary calculations by Conspiracy Nation yield "157" for Felix Rohatyn.)
The mundane info on Rohatyn at Wikipedia has him born in 1928, with a "long and distinguished career in public service." (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Felix_Rohatyn)

Rohatyn worked for the Lazard Frères investment bank for decades. He also is employed by Lehman Brothers and belongs to the Council on Foreign Relations. (Wikipedia reference)
These last will ring alarm bells with some, especially the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) connection.
Now, into the Twilight Zone. Here is some of the LaRouchian perspective.
In "Felix Rohatyn and the Nazis" (http://www.larouchepub.com/lar/2006/webcasts/3324_june_9_webcast.html), The Wacky Frenchman asks, "Who is Felix Rohatyn?" The answer, in part, is that Felix Rohatyn is a protégé of a fellow called André Meyer. André Meyer was a kingpin of an organization known as Lazard Frères, in Paris. (Further research on Lazard Frères is indicated.)
LaRouche alleges that what Lazard Frères represented, then, and now, lies in its being "the key Continental center in banking which brought Adolf Hitler to power, and launched World War II..."
When World War II ended, "the bankers behind Hitler were not really touched." And the grandson of one of these bankers, Prescott Bush, chief executive officer for Brown Brothers Harriman, is our own beloved Dubya Bush.
Adolph Hitler was a "project" of the bankers, an anticipated return to a medieval, feudal society. The plot seems still to exist. Study the "Robocop" films. It's all there.
In the medieval times, the world was dominated, Europe and beyond, by a group of Venetian bankers. They financed the Crusades then, and their bankster oligarch descendants are doing it again now. And, since Felix Rohatyn is a banker, ipso facto, Felix Rohatyn must be behind the current Middle East mess, is the apparent logic.
To "the present day, the continuity of those banking traditions in Europe, then centered on Venice, now centered on the Anglo-Dutch Liberal bankers, and the French Synarchist bankers, are bringing back the attempt to destroy the nation-state..." in favor of globalized feudalism.
To that end, the United States is being purposely led toward Balkanization. How else to explain the economic insanity, e.g. flight of manufacturing, enormous indebtedness, etc.?
Rohatyn plays a sinister part in this, if LaRouche is correct. Reportedly, Rohatyn was "the chief architect of the destruction of Delphi! Delphi was not bankrupt. It was bankrupted by Felix Rohatyn."
But Rohatyn might be just your current typical businessman. Instead of lusting after the good old feudal days, he might be just another greedy man. The Delphi bankruptcy may have been parlayed into loot somehow, benefiting cunning financiers. Or, Delphi might simply have gone bankrupt, no sinister plots involved.
There is some movement to undermine human dignity, so as to facilitate a caste system. If humans have not inherent dignity, then it's "okay" that they be ill-housed, ill-fed, euthanized, given sub-standard medical care, and considered to be beasts. To that end, Darwinism has been embraced. But the "scientists" have it backwards: the apes descended from man, not man from the apes. Catherine Austin Fitts, a former Assistant Secretary of Housing in the Daddy Bush Administration, does view Rohatyn as despicable. In "The Real Deal: Felix Rohatyn's Financial Holocaust" (http://www.scoop.co.nz/stories/HL0301/S00080.htm), she unloads the following discharge:
- Felix Rohatyn is a liar and a wolf in sheep's clothing promoting increased power for the military-industrial complex.
- Felix Rohatyn is marketing a plan to make fascism a reality in your neighborhood.
- Felix Rohaytn is as civic-minded as Himmler.
- Felix Rohaytn is fronting for the financial interests that found a way to bring narcotics holocaust into your neighborhood --- he built his personal fortune on reinvesting these holocaust profits.
- Felix Rohatyn's wealth is connected to insider trading, money laundering, mortgage fraud and pump and dump stock market frauds that targeted your retirement savings and your children's inheritance with stocks like Enron.
Whew! This Felix Rohatyn is one scarey guy!!
To Catherine Austin Fitts, however, Rohatyn apparently does not belong to a cabal promoting corporate feudalism. Or does he? Ms. Fitts connects Rohatyn with his friend and fellow Council on Foreign Relations colleague, Dick Ravitch. Ravitch is quoted by her as having bluntly stated, "As long as I can get government subsidies, what do I care if people have education or jobs?" As Rush Limbaugh would say, "Let them adapt." (Let them eat cake.)
At 78 years of age, Felix Rohatyn ere long will be facing that Big Robocop In The Sky. Would you want to be in his shoes?
