The 2007 solar return for the 9/11 attack looks quite dramatic,
with a mutable grand cross.

Cast for Manhattan:
Midheaven = 28 Sagittarius = Pluto 26 Sagittarius = Mars at 21 Gemini.
Ascendant = 27 Pisces = Moon 24 Virgo = Sun 19 Virgo = Uranus 16
Pisces.
Cast for Washington, DC:
Midheaven = 26 Sagittarius = Pluto 26 Sagittarius - culminating!
Ascendant = 22 Pisces = MO 24 Virgo = SU 19 Virgo = UR 16 Pisces.
This return seems to resonate powerfully with the energy of the
initial event and carry it forward.
Mars conjunct the U.S.(7/4/1776) Mars, highlights the ongoing
aggression and military deployment, that were set-off by the 9/11
attack.
And Pluto on the return Midheaven, reflects the President's
position on terrorism and the Iraq war. He's not ready to concede
failure, or control of the military to Congress.

28, with all the technical details, and graphic eclipse maps. This
eclipse is quite powerful in Washington, DC, as it falls on the
local horizon there along with Nodes of the Moon.

Visibility of the Total Lunar Eclipse of August 28, 2007
August's lunar eclipse is well-placed for North and South America
as well as the Pacific, eastern Asia and Australia. All of North
America will witness some portion of the eclipse, but western
observers are favored. The early umbral phases will be in progress
at moonset for observers in Maritime Canada. From the eastern USA,
the Great Lakes region and Ontario, the Moon sets in total eclipse.
Only observers to the west of the Rockies (including Alaska) will
be treated to the entire event. All phases of the eclipse are also
visible from islands of the Pacific Ocean, New Zealand and eastern

In the late August 2007 lunar eclipse (Aug 28, 2007 6:35:19 am EDT)
-- the rising Sun joins the South Node and Saturn (in the last
critical degree of Leo) opposite the eclipsed Moon (on the
descendant) with Jupiter opposite Mars squaring them to form a
loose grand cross.
This is somewhat reminiscent of the “Nostradamus” eclipse of 1999.
The next month sees a solar eclipse (Sep 11, 2007 8:45:12 am EDT)
on the sixth year anniversary of 9-11. This eclipse squares Dubya’s
and opposes the vernal ingress Uranus/Node conjunctions. Saturn has
moved to Virgo –nearing Dubya’s Mars, conjunct the South Node and
in the sign of the eclipse.
Another loose (ten degree orb) grand cross is formed by Uranus
opposing and Mars, Jupiter and Pluto all squaring the eclipse.
It sure don’t look good for ole Dubya. Venus retrograding over
Saturn in August could spell difficulty for an already volatile
economy –as well as Dubya’s war plans (conjunct his Mars). Mercury
stationing square his Leo stellium suggests the airing of some
dirty laundry.
His natal Uranus/N. Node conjunction being activated twice (via the
ingress and 9-11 eclipse) suggests “the decider” is going to see
the boomerang of his chaotic decisions come home.
And Mars stationing on his Sun (and our Nation's) – that can’t be
good.
2007 will definitely go down in history folks –and Dubya with it.
Whatever happens, I’m sure Tecumseh would say Dubya earned his Karma.

The eclipse falls right on the ascendant-descendant axis in
Washington, DC, which is considered a powerful placement for an
eclipse. The effects of the eclipse will last until late winter
2008, and will be most noticeable through late October, 2007.
Whenever an eclipse falls on the angles in a given location, the
effects there will be powerful.
This eclipse is close to the fixed star FOMALHAUT, which brings
renunciation and sacrifice, an entry to the dark night of the soul,
and an eventual re-emergence.
The Lord of the eclipse is Jupiter in Sagittarius, which tends to
increase everything, including legal activity (as in creation and
enforcement of laws), benefits to religious people, and those
associated with higher learning.
But Jupiter is opposed from the 10th house by Mars, the god of war,
so we will have the law opposed to war this fall. This is expected,
as the debate over Iraq grows ever sharper in Congress,
particularly around the September deadline imposed earlier this
year. The war continues to harm the U.S. executive branch, as Mars
squares the ruler of the 10th house of kings, Mercury.
Saturn in Leo, the sign of its detriment, also falls a little bit
too close to the Ascendant. This will produce a difficult time for
all involved, with a pervading sense of gloom, even despair. This
is not a fortunate placement.
Interestingly, the lunar eclipse falls on Vice President Dick
Cheney’s natal Ascendant at 2 Virgo, and it will be shortly
followed by Saturn’s transit over the Ascendant in late September.
This is not an auspicious combination, and added attention to
health and social standing would be beneficial.
Worldwide, the volatile, unstable Mercury-Mars square will produce
wars, rebellion, and violence, particularly in areas where the
planets are on the angles.
