According to a man described as "the father of the neutron bomb",
Samuel Cohen, the "neutron bomb" secrets were "given" to
Communist China in the 1980's by the "executive branch"
of the U.S. government.
Cohen made his assertions during a radio interview with KSFO radio
talker, Michael Savage.
Cohen corrected Savage when Savage suggested that the secrets
were transferred during the Reagan administration: "the eighties
were the era of Reagan-Bush".
Cohen was circumspect in his assertions, but the implication of what
he said was that during the period he was referring to, George Bush
was really the architect of the U.S. China policy, and the U.S. was
concerned about China's ability to defend against a massive invasion
by the Soviet Union. The result was that persons "in the executive branch"
caused the nuclear secrets to be transferred.
Cohen made it clear that he was NOT asserting that Ronald Reagan directed
the transfer. He suggested that there are a lot of things that the
president
doesn't know about, and that are handled without his knowledge.
