-Caveat Lector-

   Right on!

Jamie

Hi Ric,
Religion is something I will not debate in this CTRL medium...
However, if you want to come over to one of my forums,
I will be glad to debate you on the issue.
Religions are a dime a dozen. I put no creedence in any one
religion, because there is truth in all of them, and also much
error due to the human factor that cannot accept what the book
says, but those who would rather rewrite it so that it tickles the
the ears and says something other than the original message.
I'm not saying I've got it all down. No, the Bible is not something
you sit downs and study overnight and you've got the whole picture.
It takes a lifetime and then some to really study the languages.
The more I learn the more I know I don't know.

The original Hebrew and Greek are very specific and graphic in
their content. Instead of reading transliterations, I suggest
you translate the manuscripts and codices for yourself, and
not be led by the nose by any religious faction.
I think then you will find that there is only ONE Bible, and only
ONE truth, that was sent forth from the beginning.
It's man who has changed the dialogue and put his own assertions
into this infamous book that has caused all the confusion...
and all the various versions, all the way
from Moses who wrote the pentateuch, forward to this day.
I will not tell you what the book says, (nor will I proselytize).
That, you have to discover on your own time.
