Clinton's been good for business, a lot better for business than Old Bush was or New Bush would be. Clinton's presided over the biggest financial boom in history, the greatest drop in gov't employees [and the greatest jump in gov't contractors], the most prosperous time most Murkans have ever seen. His approval rating is still around 2/3. Well, duh! Anyone who's seriously opposed Clinton finds their career heads towards the toilet, their supporters go elsewhere, fast. "Exposing his wrongdoings" is a good way to become irrelevant. So who expects a "fearless Republican establishment" to commit political suicide? He's their baby; they make innocuous noises, pretend to resist, then run along to lap up a bit more from the public trough. Root, pig, root.
