-Caveat Lector- Back in April, the Justice Department declined to prosecute former CIA Director John Deutch for keeping secret files on his unsecured personal computer at home after he was no longer CIA Director. He was just reckless, not criminal. In fact, Mr. Deutch was found to have 3l secret files in the unsecured personal computer in his home. After a full year of investigation, it was decided no prosecution was necessary. Good for Mr. Deutch. No problem. Now let's take a look at a really serious problem. That's when a guy moves a file from the secure computer to his desk computer to work on it. He doesn't take it home, but he follows a practice that has been going on in his organization for donkeys' years. Now this guy should be hung from a lamp post. You can see he is oriental. That's the giveaway. We're not friends with China right now, so anyone with oriental features is obviously a threat to Democracy. I have a friend who was sent to Topaz (an internment camp for those Japanese we just knew would aid our enemies during World War II). I believe she was nine years old at the time, but you never know when some precocious child is going to sell us down the river. Washington, D.C. is a madhouse, and the inmates are in charge of our country. Still logic prevails. Let's see now--Classified documents in home computer--that's okay. Classified documents at work station--Baaaaaaaaaaad. I think I've got it. Prudy DECLARATION & DISCLAIMER ========== CTRL is a discussion and informational exchange list.
