# Naked ghosts scaring Iraqi drivers. BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) - Ghost stories are
pretty common around the old Iraqi city of Haditha. Still, when the ghosts
start dancing naked in front of oncoming motorists, it makes quite a stir.
Drivers passing through Horan Valley outside the town of Haditha, 135 mi.
northeast of Baghdad, reported that "ghosts appeared next to the bridge,
naked and doing some acrobatic moves." Tales of ghosts in the Horan Valley
are common, but these ghosts were "throwing themselves before cars, caus-
ing the drivers to panic." Motorist Shawki Sabar said "they were almost
human - although I could not concentrate on their looks because I was so
scared and it was dark." And the opium/hashish mix was kicking in. See

: Do you prefer ghosts naked, clothed, iridescent, neutral, garlanded, fat,
skinny, evanescent, stick-like? Do you prefer ghostly people or vice-versa??

# Absence makes males pine away. BOSTON (AP) So who pines away longer, men
or women? Researchers say the more time spent apart after sex, the more
eager men were to copulate with their lovers again. But women don't feel
the same way - and it doesn't matter how much time has gone by since the
couple last fucked. In a survey, women were generally unaffected by separ-
ation. Men are unwittingly responding to an urge from way back in human
  evolution: http://infobeat.com/stories/cgi/story.cgi?id=2560802947-207

: Are you lonely tonight? Do you miss me tonight? Are you sorry weve drifted
apart? Do you want to fuck again? Do you care that you're driving me mad??

# Boys Programmed For Violence. BOSTON (AP) - Raising boys to be strong and
silent is promoting the outbreak of mass school shootings and a broader,
smoldering climate of despair among male teen-agers, experts suggest. "I
think we have a national crisis of boys in America." Psychologists resp-
onded to public concern over recent mass killings at schools, saying U.S.
boys are still reared largely in keeping with the traditional code of male
toughness, which encourages boys to take action but squelches expressions
of feeling and gestures of physical affection by and toward boys. See

: Are you a US male? Are you programmed to kill? Who directed the culture to
instill violence into young males? Is this an ancient plot? Was is {JHWH}??

# Lutherans reject gay pastors. DENVER (AP) The Evangelical Lutheran Church
in America rejected a bid to axe its policy barring actively homosexual
clergy. The denomination will continue to permit homosexual pastors who
agree to a celibate lifestyle. A report from five denominational agencies
said the 5.2-million member church should not shrink from "the sometimes
discomforting experience of looking anew at our inherited tradition." See

: Does your belief system embrace discomforting experiences? Do your dogmas
program violence into young men? Do your deities insist on such programming?
