Well, then they have a year to go, since the new century (and hence the
new millenium) doesn't begin until Jan. 1, 2001.
It's a shame to see the mistaken notion that the 20th century (and
current millenium) ends THIS year perpetuated in the mainstream media.
But if the media can't get this simple scientific fact straight, then
that if proof that we should question all the other 'facts' they
disseminate...
