Actually I had heard this one recently, BUT the eyes do grow, just not much.
I checked with the NIH and asked them if eyes grow, or if they are the same
size throughout life. I was told that babies are born with eyes that are
about 75% of adult size, and they have 20/400 vision. Vision improves, and
the eye keeps growing for the first 2 years of life
