Ric, the night before Windows went belly-up on you, did you happen to
spend several hours downloading the contents of your entire bookmark
file (almost 50 MEGS of data), with the good intention of backing
everything up on floppies after you got some shuteye? If so, you're not
alone, it happened to me 3 weeks ago. I believe there is a conspiracy,
I have NO IDEA who the aitch-ee-double-toothpicks is responsible, to
make sure that your technical difficulties take place in direct
proportion to the amount of work you did, and in inverse proportion to
the amount of saving/backing up you did.

P.S. Make an emergency boot disk--and MAKE SURE that your CD-ROM driver
is installed on this disk. You will need it to re-install Win98. Win98
is only available at the store in CD-ROM. If you use the emergency
restore disk that came with your computer, you will format the hard
drive. I speak from devastating experience. You may also wish to set
DOS up to recognize your CD-ROM drive.
