The Omega Code -
What message is ultimately sent by this movie?
Is this movie to be interpreted as fact, fiction or something in-
between by Christians?
I've overheard several conversations from people that have seen the
movie that now appear to be incorporating the theory of the "Bible
Code" as "gospel" into their personal belief systems.
The wholesale marketing by several religious groups, going so far as to
buy tickets for their youth groups, reinforces this.
I suggest that a healthy consideration and explanation by these groups
to their youth is in order.
I also note with dismay, that the star of this film, Casper Van Dien,
also is the star of a movie released a few days ago to video (after the
Omega Code) called Modern Vampires. A movie which I rented based on his
performance in the Omega Code.
This is the ACTOR who says "save me Jesus" in the Omega Code.

In Modern Vampires (R-Rated), Casper Van Dien is a vampire that uses
four-letter-words, has intercourse with another vampire on top of a car
and at the closing of the movie strolls into the night with his new
girlfriend and their newly acquired lesbian lover.
There are dangers in "going Hollywood" that should be adequately
considered.
Impressionable children should be counseled on the dangers of confusing
fact with fiction and actors with real-life characters.
Some adults also could use this counseling.
