        Granted...IF the only person your behavior affects is yourself. BUT
when your behavior starts to affect me, whether it be through secondhand
smoke or erratic driving, THEN it IS my business. The public costs--that is,
the cost to thee and me, the taxpayers--of alcohol and drug abuse (that is,
the EXCESSIVE use of intoxicants) are so great that we have an absolute
obligation to get involved. I don't give a @#$% how you choose to kill
yourself. When you do it in my front yard, however, it is definitely my
business.
