There are 2 parts to the Theosophical Society one is public and one is secret.
The public organisation has three objects which I completely agree with.
1. To form a nucleus of Universal Brotherhood regardless of race, colour,
caste, creed or sex.
2. To promote the study of comparitive philosophy, religion and science.
3. to investigate the unexplained laws of nature and the powers latent in man.
That's a great vision - and many wonderful people that I personally know,
endorse it and use those objects to the betterment of themselves and society.
However, the Esoteric School is a secret hierarchical organisation claiming
to be the mentors and instructors and movers behind the public [exoteric]
organisation.
Although they obviously have access to ancient teachings which would have
made Nicola Tesla happy - [I have seen a degree which was never destroyed
as intended] - they clearly are dependent upon the will of non-human beings
from another planet who stay in an underground base under Tibet.
The remit of the public organisation is Freedom of Thought - and the group
to which I belong at this time is strongly and vigorously defending a
hostile takeover from some secret cabal that have long envied our freedom
and ability.
What I think is wonderful is that many fine people think that what we have
is worthwhile enough to fight for - and we will go all the way to fight for
our Freedoms here - and if Darth Vader comes round - then he gets the boot
also.
The public Theosophical Society - IS its THREE OBJECTS as stated above, and
was and is a vision ahead of its time - it is only a pity that it comes
with other rubbish and baggage.
It may be that the 'Hidden Masters' will unfold their agenda for the 'new'
Root Race at some point by creating a 'great shaking' [Besant 1911] to weed
out the weaker elements - and I absolutely hate this unforgiveable elitist
Nazi garbage -
BUT - please be easy on the people trying to help the human race - and
sometimes these people can be found in the most unexpected places.
