Making light of horrific events in the lives of children to forward your political idiology is vicious and unfeeling. I've never been raped, but I can recall a few close calls. I was an adult at the time, and it is still something I prefer not to think about. Home schooling is probably wonderful for some families, but it is not going to prevent the rape of children. It is obvious that institutions, both churches and schools, put in place to teach and protect our children are failing them and us at every turn. We need to be paying attention and money to alleviate the situations described here. It is not happening. The people who should be making sure children are safe seem to be too busy discussing sex between various concensual adults to worry about the vile things happening to our children.
