It should be fairly obvious to us all by now that something, who knows
exactly what, will happen on 1/1/00. The biggest threat may not be our
machines but the people bent on their end of the world doctrine. Could they
actually bring it about? I think so. Bioweapons, chemicals, something
destructive so they can say "See? We were right! " God help us all...
