This is the story of my abductions as well as I can remember them. These experiences happened from my birth until the age of eleven. At that age I removed a very little dark brown object, size around two or three millimetres, out of the hollow of my right knee. It was attached on a cyst which is still visible. It looked precisely like an implant removed by an other abductee. http://www.caus.org/pc121099.htm : Have you been abducted repeatedly? Did anyone notice? Do people find you odd? Do you find others odd? Do you recall being abducted at birth? Is birth itself just abduction from the womb? Are ultrasonic scans surveillance? NEW YORK (Reuters) Young men under the age of 21 are most likely to use a firearm to kill themselves or some- one else, according to a study of Los Angeles suicides and homicides. To speak of the breakdown of rational consciousness and its institutionalization is to face the task of speaking around the un- speakable, mapping like an archeologist the premises of a repressed topo- graphy under disclosure, knowing all the while that the breakdown will never be found finally in any one place, in any location. The feminine is an abstract machine: http://english-www.hss.cmu.edu/cultronix/griggers/ : Has your rationality broken down lately? Do you celebrate it, repress it, institutionalize it, lose it, loose it? If feminine machines are abstract, what is realized, tangible, observable? Is consciousness over-rated? Park Friday, 10 Dec 99 Washington, DC @ MARS: IT'S STILL OURS TO CONQUER. The latest snafu in exploring Mars needs to be put in perspective: Nobody died; the Polar Lander cost a fraction of a single shuttle mission. We don't even know if there was a problem with the spacecraft. This is EXPLORATION, after all, not circling around in low-Earth orbit. But "faster/cheaper/better" does not mean budgets can be slashed every year without increasing risk. With continued overruns on the ravenous space station, cuts fall disproportionately on science programs. : How cheaply can you conquer the universe? Is galactic conquest worth a tax increase? Do you agree with: "EARTH FIRST! We'll stripmine the other planets later!" ?? What planets would you like to stripmine? Will it be profitable? @ NASA: THE OTHER Y2K GLITCH. Space Shuttle managers announced that the much delayed Hubble repair mission, which was set for launch tomorrow, will be put off until Dec 16 to allow repairs of a dented fuel line. It can't be delayed much further without flying on New Year's Day. To avoid any possi- ble Y2K glitches, NASA would put off the flight until January. Meanwhile, Space Station construction is still on hold while electrical problems are corrected on the rest of the fleet. To add to the space station problems, solar activity will reach the peak of the 11-year cycle in 2000. A new National Academy of Sciences report recommends limiting space walks. : Do you stay indoors during peak solar activity? To avoid risky/expensive Shuttle flights, should we build an elevator to geosynchronous orbit? When? @ EMF: CURE FOR ELECTROPHOBIA MAY BE TO MOVE TO THE UK. Massive studies of exposure to residential magnetic fields in the US (WN 4 Jul 97) & Canada (WN 30 Apr 99) failed to find ANY trace of links to childhood leukemia. Now, an even larger study in the UK has been released. No link was found between EMF exposure and ANY form of childhood cancer. Will this finally bring the 20-year witch hunt to an end? We should be so lucky. Those who seem determined to find a problem insist the result is not relevant here. Power pumps at 220 volts in Europe, rather than 110, so exposure of Brit- ish kids to EMF is only 1/2 that of their North American counterparts. Nor does the study shed any light on why Brits drink warm beer. : Are EMF radiations different at 110 v. 60 Hz. (US) versus 220 v. 50 Hz. (UK) for any given power? Is that relevant? D'ya drink warm beer? Is power too expensive for you to run the fridge?
