From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Yes Jim, you did mention a lot of things about this here awhile back. Interesting stuff... Dan must have missed it because he was taking a vacation from the list to work on his book. A little over a year ago I told Dan about Gordon Winslow possibly being a part of a CIA op in the mid - 40's regarding Cuba (which came from the lips of another old CIA Op). I say "possibly" because the person who told me is dead, and I certainly don't want to start rumours based on hearsay of a dead person! I have no proof, but I'd almost bet my life that this is where he gets his "expertise" on Cuba, etc. In 1993 when I originally started working to decipher an OP 40 (original) MAP of Cuba my gramps left me, Winslow was contacted. He gave out a lot of disinfo to a research associate. Shortly thereafter, myself, as well as my associate, had visits from the FBI. My associate later got a call from someone at the National Archives (yeah, right!) as well, inquiring as to where he had gotten the information on Op 40, the photos, and the map. Of course he didn't say where, because he didn't have them. I did. Shortly thereafter we had some strange break-ins & unannounced "visitors" creeping through our homes searching for something. Then people started dying again ... just like they did immediately after Gramps turned over the maps & photos, etc. One of those who had a "mysterious heart attack" was Carlos Marcello, one of Carlos' associates in New Orleans, and my grandfather a few months later. The "heart attacks" happened just after visits from the FBI in some cases, and alleged "messages" received from Santos Trafficante, Jr. Something was definitely "not right" with the way all that went down - but you'd have had to have been there (as I was) to understand the meaning of all of this. Do you still think Winslow is nothing but a researcher? I don't. Although I cannot prove it, he is a player in my book. Stan Soloway (Clinton appointee in the DOD) mysteriously popped up in my life after I got the Op 40 info, too. A woman died in the place I was to meet him one night... dressed in the same color and type of clothing I was to have been wearing. Thank God I had enough sense NOT to show. A few years later I have a man at gunpoint force me to write names on a list, all but one who are now dead, or have been attacked, beaten, or disabled in some form or fashion. I stopped digging for awhile and moved the items of importance to other locations. There have been numerous entries made into my homes where people have been searching for things, etc., or placing things for me to find. I've had guns stolen from my bedside as I slept, and items placed on a bed next to me as I slept in the past and again recently, after I started "digging" for information again. These people are relentless. The fact that you are digging into all of this makes you a target. They are going to try to feed you a lot of disinfo to keep you from appearing credible. They are going to try to get your research as they did a lot of mine. They are not going to allow you to publish this book if at all possible, and if they can't stop it from getting out they are going to do their best to discredit you, scare & threaten you, and possibly attack you physically, Dan. There are cops, businessmen, elected officials, politicians, etc. involved in this coverup and they don't want it "uncovered". You are sailing in deadly waters. I cannot stress this enough... be careful who you trust. - Tanina Subj: Re: [CIA-DRUGS] Gaeton Fonzi Date: 12/27/1999 10:46:39 PM Eastern Standard Time From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (JP Viken) Reply-to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Gee, didn't I mention this first a while back? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Daniel Hopsicker" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "CIA" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Sunday, December 26, 1999 11:35 PM Subject: [CIA-DRUGS] Gaeton Fonzi > One of the biggest puzzlements I've encountered this past year was the response from the so-called experts in the JFK assassination researcher community when I published a picture--the only known picture--of the CIA assassination squad, operation 40, on my website, and then solicited their help in ID'ing the people there. > The two "experts" on the exile Cuban community, solicited for help in making identifications of Cubans pictured in a Mexico City nite club with Barry Seal in January of 1963,Gaeton Fonzi and Gordon Winslow, were both curiously unhelpful, even suggesting that the evidence of my own eyes was in error, that that "white was black," in denying that Feliz Rodriguez is seated beside Seal. > > "More will be revealed" is one of the promises of life.
