I don't understand why any halfway intelligent terrorist would plan
something
at this time, anyway...considering how security was going to be on a
heightened alert heading into the holiday season, if _I_ was a terrorist
intent on a SUCCESSFUL act of terrorism, I would either choose another time
of year, or have infiltrated my agents into the country and provided them
with
their supplies months in advance...
I definitely wouldn't have them making such open and obvious movements as
the
guys who were arrested at the border...especially considering how sparse the
Canadian border is patrolled by the INS, it would have been a piece of cake
to
smuggle both people and explosives into the country in a remote area,
especially
during the autumn 'leaf peeper' season in September and October...
