I haven't had any trouble here in Colorado Springs, but nearly everyone I
know that installed AOL 5 has had problems. I still use version 3 and have
no problems. I have even managed to stay on-line without getting booted for
more than 1,000 minutes ~ I installed ICQ and that seems to keep me from
being booted ... it also prevents being booted when downloading a large file.
I used earthlink at first, but dropped it because it would boot me offline
whenever I tried to download a file more than 2M. Since then I tried several
local ISPs that were cheaper, but I had to download mail and the mailboxes
were very small, probably less than 1M. My sister, who lives outside Houston
couldn't use AOL because she could never get online ... maybe living near a
city makes a difference.

Regards,
Bob Stokes
