Many of our polititans belong to a society called Parliamentarians for Global Action. This includes our present PM and her deputy. This is associated with the world parliament in waiting that UN has gathered from most of the nations of the world. They all get together in global meetings to talk about the state of the world ecologically etc designed to make them feel the earth hasn't got long unless we all get together and save this or do this here etc..(This is covered in the book - En Route to Global occupation by Gary Kah which I can scan a bit of to give the main ideas.) Anyway Marilyn siad that every year each country of the world gets told what policy to implement and they have to put so much money here and there. Thats it! UN writes the policy for the world and goverments just do it. If one looks closely at all these meetings they all have all over the globe this is what is going on. Even the education policies are dictated by UN and guess who gets them I think it was Robert Muller at UN , who was channelling "The Tibetan". Whether this has contributed to the dumbing down effect going on in places who knows. But even the Catholic education heads follow it. ( I posted the details recently about this here) Gary Kah knows all the reasons that the world's politicians have for following UN orders. Pretty convincing reasons too. Here's a couple listed in the book - drought conditions resulting in starving of millions of people; population pressure on resources and birth control difficulty - How many can earth carry? All completely condradictory eg drought and coming ice age - but there were so many of them the world looks completely doomed. I think the only reason this dosen't get well known is that it is put in such a boring tedious manner I don't think anyone would have the endurance to read it all. All these orders/laws get passed down from UN right down to the local councils. My friends make a study of this, otherwise it would be unnoticed. The international planners have divided the world into regions. The national planners have divided the individual countries into regions. The state planners have divided the states into regions. At the international level, treaties are crafted and pushed through national legislatures in order to create international organizations and erode national sovereignty (e.g., NAFTA and GATT). A concerted effort is made to combine nations or portions of nations in order to provide an argument for international control. At the national level, countries are divided into regions by executive order and councils of executive appointees are set up to control each region (e.g., the ten federal regions set up by President Nixon). Control is exercised through zoning and land use regulations and by requirements attached to federal grant money. Multiple states or portions of several states are included to bring the regions under federal jurisdiction. The same process is repeated at the state level. Regional planning commissions are set up to control all development and funding through land use regulations and direction of spending of tax revenues. The planning commissions are composed of individuals appointed by state Governors, county commissioners, and city mayors, and often include federal appointees. They are not composed of elected representatives of the people who are accountable to the people. At the local level, regionalism means the combining of municipalities to form new governmental units, with transfer of functions and control from the local level to the county, state, or federal level. By this process of regionalization, the people lose all control over their own property and their own future. They are oppressed with heavy taxation, endless regulations, and swarms of bureaucrats and officials.
