Well, Bill, some might say that you are guilty of that which you condemn by
"heavy-handedly" discounting and ridiculing those who accept homeopathy and other
"non-traditional" treatment programs. One could easily question YOUR motivations as
to why you feel it so imperative and so strongly to condemn and ridicule the ideas
presented on this subject, but not I. For the record, I don't know if Homeopathy is
any good at all, it may be junk science as you say, but if someone wants to tell me
about it and give me an anecdotal report of its benefits then who am I to tell them
they are full of it. This list is about information, and there may be a scrap that is
valuable within the reams of junk that comes our way, and I say, if you like it fine,
if you don't, just ignore it, or as is your wont, discredit it if you feel the need
to, but let's not be about telling people to stop contributing, especially when there
may be a gem of good information contained therein.
Incidentally I agree with you that an important issue to focus more on is the idea of
suppression of "legitimate" medical treatments by the medical community.
So, Bill, let them have their placebo, what say you?
