Along the lines of one of two questions I would ask my Sunday school teachers that
would cause them to get a look of extreme
dyspepsia (thank goodness it was a 'liberal' church)...
But I couldn't understand why, if the whole reason for Jesus to be born on earth and
be a physical man was to die as a sacrifice for
us, meaning he'd have to be turned over to the authorities and executed instead of
living a full life and dying in his sleep of old
age...well then, Judas had to be part of a great divine plan of redemption, and not
the evil villian that he is usually portrayed
as... ;-)
