Okay, tell us why the Miami gang had a psychiatrist as Elian's "primary
physician". What drugs was this psychiatrist giving the child?

> Q Are you saying that you believe that home video made in Miami where

> A. I most certainly do believe that video. Why the Elian defenders have

Because the kid was obviously coached.

Add to that the distinct possibility that the Miami gang was having the
kid drugged (and would explain why they are so willing to accuse others
of doing so now), and what you have is a little boy acting like Patty
Hearst as "Tanya" when she was under the control of her SLA kidnappers...

>
> A. Yes, the dishonest critics did make this absurd claim, I suppose

No cue cards, but good coaching.

How do you think preschoolers are used in films, TV, and commercials? They
can't read either, yet they are able to learn the lines they are to say, and
to say it with believability.

Hell, even ANIMALS can be taught to play a role...

Again, I must point out how the supporters of the Miami gang continually
unintentionally reveal much more than they are willing to admit...

This very same argument of "computer alteration" can as easily be used
against the Miami gang...

What is so 'miraculous' about the piece of base-metal he was wearing?

Luciferian? The people writing this usually are so ready to put that
label on the Santerian religion which is making all these claims of
"Elian miracles"...ironic that they now become such vehement proponents
of this pagan religion...

> simultaneously conducting a vicious smear campaign against the Miami
> Gonzalez family, Donato the Fisherman, and the Cuban-American communty.

Sorry, but the Miami gang are their own worst enemies...they are in no need
of anyone conducting a 'smear campaign', all that is needed is for reporters
worth the name doing a modicum of research into the backgrounds of these
nutcases. It is a point of record that Lazaro Gonzalez can't hold a job,
and has a long record of DUIs...it is a matter of record that two of his
brothers have long records of assault, battery, and theft...it is a matter
of record that Marisleysis Gonzalez had a record of being hospitalized for
'stress' on many occasions BEFORE Elian ever came on the scene...it is a
matter of record that Dalrymple's brother was convicted of killing a two-
year-old child...it is a matter of record that Dalrymple claimed to be a
'fisherman' for months, until it was revealed he's really a housecleaner...
it is a matter of record that he is married, but for some reason tries to
hide that fact, and chooses to abandon his wife as he pursues his many
minutes of fame that Elian has brought him...it is a matter of record that
he seems to get off on the fact that he laid in bed with Elian on more
than one occasion, and that Elian licked his face...

> Q IS it true that the two other survivors from the Elian party, both of
> whom floated to shore alone after the raft went down, have commented on

> A Yes, it is true.

And it is also true that Dalrymple's cousin, the other 'fisherman' who
saved Elian back in November, is on record as saying that he believes
Elian should go back to his father in Cuba. But we don't hear about HIM,
do we, since it wouldn't serve the fanatical anti Casto-ites agenda...

> While the Big Media has gone into overdrive to smear
> the mother and say she risked death in shark infested waters because of
> a shallow crush she had on another one of the escapees,

Again, no need to go 'into overdrive to smear the mother', even her own
mother, Elian's grandmother, has stated as such. Her daughter never had
political leanings, and neither did her new boyfriend. He apparantly
wanted to come to Miami to find a better paying job, and she decided to
follow -- and to kidnap Elian, and risk his life by putting him on an
obviously unseaworthy vessel...thereby committing child-endangerment...

> both survivors

This must have been when she was dressing Elian in the dayglo orange
shirt and pants?

Call me skeptical, but I really doubt that a mother, "when things began to
look bad, and the party was breaking up with some of them drowning", would
have suddenly decided at that time to make a political speech, when all her
life she had never been political. But I DO believe that others on the
boat who WERE (or are) political would have chosen to read into anything she
said their own agenda...if not outright LIE about what she said.

Bottom line, whatever they claim she said is HEARSAY, inadmissable in a
court of law...

Okay, let's set up another scenario. A woman, a U.S. citizen, marries an
immigrant from Iran. They have a child. Just before the child's 6th
birthday, the father decides to take his child home to Iran to see his
family there. The mother remains behind in the U.S.

As the plane the father and child are on approaches Tehran airport, the
plane crashes. The father dies, the child survives. The Iranian
relatives take custody of the child, and refuse to return him to his
mother in the U.S. They claim that she can come live in Iran to be
reunited with her child, but they refuse to send him back to the U.S.
to live. They claim that in his last phone call to them, the child's
father expressed a desire to return to Iran and raise his child there.
The Iranian relatives, with the support of certain anti-U.S. groups in
Iran, create demonstrations calling the U.S. the Great Satan, and claim
that the child would be better served by being raised in Iran, with its
strict laws and adherence to the moral code of the Koran...

Meanwhile, the mother, left behind in the U.S., has to arrange both her
affairs and her finances before she can make the trip to Iran to try to
regain custody of her child. The Iranian relatives point to this delay
as 'proof' that the mother doesn't really care for her child. They say
that if she really loved her child but wished to remain living in the
U.S., she should gladly give up custody of her child to the Iranian
relatives. Before the mother can make the trip to Iran, the Iranian
relatives release a videotape of the child saying he loves his Iranian
relatives, wishes to remain in Iran, and tells his mother that she can
come to Iran to be with him, but he doesn't want to go back to the U.S.

When the mother finally DOES get to go to Iran, would anyone blame her
for wishing to stay at the American Consulate (if it still existed)
instead of either with the relatives or in a private hotel, where she
would be at risk of being mobbed -- perhaps kidnapped, perhaps worse --
by the fanatical Iranians who support the relatives who are holding
her child hostage?

If per chance the Iranian government intervened and grabbed the kid to
return to the mother pending a judicial hearing on the matter, would
anyone blame them for going into seclusion in the interim, and not
presenting themselves to the media circus?

Would any of these anti-Castro fanatics argue that the mother in the
above scenario DOESN'T deserve to have custody of her own child?
How then can they justify Elian's father not having custody of HIS
own child?

> The court is going to decide whether or not Elian has the right to seek
> asylum in the United States. The question is really moot, though,
> because Elian has been undergoing a reprogramming operation since
> Clinton troops seized him.

Yep. These fanatics continually reveal more than they realize...

"Reprogramming" implies that "programming" has occurred...so this statement
ADMITS that the Miami gang programmed Elian....

> Q Was Juan Miguel Gonzalez married to Elian’s mother when he was
> downloaded?
>
> A. No.
> ·
> Q What about when Elian was uploaded?
>
> A No again.
>
> Q So, Elian is an illegitimate child?
>
> A. You got it.

Gee. "Downloaded" and "uploaded"...that shows real empathy and caring
for the child...

And his parents were separated when he was born...still legally married,
but living apart.

But what's the point of the above? By calling Elian "illegitimate",
are they now trying to claim Juan Miguel Gonzalez ISN'T the biological
father? The mother claimed he was, he admitted paternity, and raised
Elian as his own child (he DID have joint custody)...

> Q Who called the Miami relatives to warn them that Elian and his mother
> were on the way to America?
>
> A. Juan Miguel Gonzalez.

First off, no one has ever provided documentation of this claim.

Secondly, what does that prove? That after Juan Miguel Gonzalez found out
his wife had kidnapped his child to make an attempt of escaping to Florida,
he supposedly called his relatives in Florida to tell them to be on the
lookout for them? That is NOT the same thing as saying he knew beforehand
of his ex-wife's plans and approved of them.

> Q After the news reports came out about a 6-year-old boy being found in
> an inner tube three miles off the Florida coast, who was it that called
> the Miami relatives to tell them to go get him and take care of him?
>
> A. Juan Miguel Gonzalez.

Again, we haven't been provided any corraborating evidence of this claim.
And again, if true, it proves nothing. Who else WOULD he call to go pick
his kid up? It doesn't tell us anything about whether Juan Miguel wished
his child to be brought to the U.S., neither does it tell us whether he
necessarily 'approved' of them, only that they were the only choice he
had at the time...

> Q. What did the Justice Department and the Immigration and
> Naturalization Service say immediately after Elian was rescued?
>
> A. It’s a state court matter.

Q. And what did Elian say immediately upon being rescued (as shown on
various TV news shows at the time)?

A. (In Spanish) I want to go home to Cuba...

> Q When did Juan Miguel call for Elian’s return?
>
> A. After Fidel told him to.

No one knows this. Provide the PROOF of this allegation.

> Q Does the Cuban Constitution involve itself in the relationship between
> parents and children?
>
> A. Yes, it does. It restricts the rights of parents to raise their
> children.

And yet Elian's mother managed to kidnap the kid and put him on a leaky
boat...doesn't sound like Fidel is all THAT controlling...

> Q What are Bill Clinton’s orders to the federal officers guarding Elian
> and Juan Miguel?
>
> A. That Elian and Juan Miguel be given no opportunity to defect.

PROOF of this allegation?

> B. How is Fidel applying pressure to Juan Miguel to get the kid and get
> back to Cuba?
>
> A. Fidel is holding Juan Miguel’s parents under house arrest.

Again, give us PROOF of this...

> And just a few more thoughts, while I have your attention:
> "A child should be with his father, period." Come on, folks, are you
> thinking? What if the father lived in a crack house? What if the father
> was in prison? What if the father lived in a brothel and swept up old

> father" nonsense?

But Juan Miguel is none of those. By all accounts, even his ex-mother-in-
law, he is a loving father; he has a good job; he is an upstanding citizen.

> Remember that "I don’t want to go to Cuba, Papa" video of Elian?

Remember the "I want to go back to Cuba?" video of Elian when he was first
rescued?

And where do we draw the line, when we let 6-year-olds decide such weighty
matters for themselves? Do we next find elementary-aged children deciding
to go live with Grandma because she spoils the kid with gifts and lets the
child do whatever the child wants, while the parents impose limitations?

Next time a 6 year old says "I don't want to go to school!", do we let
them stay home? If a child says "I don't want to eat my vegetables, I
want to east Fruit Loops all the time!", do we allow that?

> But just what do you think
> is happening now! When Elian says, as he most certainly will, "Papa! I
> want to go back to Cuba!" will these same leftist whiners start
> screaming about Elian being brainwashed by those hoards of Cuban
> government officials he has been living with for the past two weeks?

No, because that is exactly what the kid said upon first being rescued
back in November. It was only when he got into the claws of the Miami
gang -- and that psychiatrist they had as his primary physician (why not
a pediatrician?), that the kid did an about-face?

And what 6-year-old, after being showeredd with gifts of Playstations,
Nike shoes, etc., and being brought to amusement parks, and being spoiled
rotten (allowed to play outside at 1am) as he became the center of the
universe for the fanatics in Miami, WOULDN'T decide he'd rather stay
where he was instead of returning home?

> · Under English Common Law — the legal system upon which our legal
> system is based — the father of an illegitimate child has no automatic
> claim to custody, no automatic right to "speak for the child."

Not quite. If he is listed on the birth certificate as the biological
father, and if a court has awarded him joint custody (both are the case
with Juan Miguel), then the father DOES have a 'right to speak for the
child'...

And guaranteed, if Juan Miguel suddenly said he wanted to defect, these
same people who are desperately trying to undermine family values by
denying a father custody of his son, would suddenly be vehemently arguing
FOR this father's rights to his 'illegitimate' child...

I wonder if these same people would accept the 'illegitimate child'
defense for all the American fathers of illegitimate children who are
looking for an excuse to not pay child support? What the hell, the
mothers have welfare to fall back on, don't they? We don't need to
dun these deadbeat dads to pay their fair share, since the kid is
illegitimate, heh?

> Juan Miguel’s illegitimate child. Those of you who feel that the law
> automatically gives Juan Miguel custody of Elian are wrong. Deal with
> it.

Under the U.S. court system, if the mother of an 'illegitimate' child
dies, and the father of the 'illegitimate' child requests custody, he
is routinely granted custody...

Deal with it.
