Screw the NRA...I am a gun owner and I value my right to own my weapon but I
am not terrified Chicken Little-style, by sensible regulation. Here in
Illinois one must acquire a FOID card before one can purchase a firearm or
ammo...that's ok with me.
So is the waiting period, I understand the concept and don't feel put off by
it.
If I'm not mistaken the 2nd Amendment contains the words "well-regulated"
does it not?
