Now this is journalism. This is a factual accounting of what actually
happened. If we all just restrain ourselves to reporting facts like
these, we stand some chance of getting to the bottom of this thing. It's
crucial that we speculate. Only by formulating and testing hypotheses
does science progress. As long as we

being constructive. It's crucial that we report the speculations of
others. The speculations of others are not only part of the story, they
are a story in and of themselves. But they are not the solution to this
mystery.
What we have to avoid is hearing a story like the "mechanic's discovery"
and immediately running off to tell people that what he said is the truth.
Not only may it not be true, he may not even exist. There is a distinct
possibility that what is really going on here is a massive psy-war
operation. That would mean that the every report, true or not, and every
speculation must be considered as a possible an element in an overall
strategy. On the other hand, if something else is going on (bio-war,
bio-war "simulants," vaccinations, etc.) then undoubtedly a massive
psy-war operation has been mounted to cover up or to exploit it. We must
studiously avoid letting psy-war steer our investigation. This is easier
said than done because if in fact psy-war is afoot, we're dealing with
experts who have a lot of experience and a big budget. Our only weapon
against them is rigorous scientific discipline.
