They don't have to be transformed -- they already are. In fact the
root of the word "Lucifer" means light (I believe a slang term used in
Britain at one time refered to matches as 'lucifers')...
Lucifer and his minions used to be shining angels in heaven who
rebelled, and were cast out...but being expelled from heaven (all
except Lucifer, who can still come and go -- the time for his being
permanently cast out and 'bound' on Earth has not yet come) has not
changed their 'shining' nature...
And yes, as the old saw goes, the devil can quote scripture to suit his
own purposes... ;-)
