I think it is interesting to see that you apparently equate belief in someone's history/information with trust. While I see that there is that aspect in terms of the predation issue, I can believe someone's information without trusting them. Trust is a complex issue but for me there are huge differences between believing that someone is a survivor of experimentation, being friends with them, sharing my own personal information, or inviting them to my home.
