LAMBERTH ORDERS TESTIMONY FROM RUFF AND PETERSON CONCERNING E-MAIL
SCANDAL

Lawsuit: Alexander, et al. v. FBI, et al. (Filegate)
(Washington, D.C.) Today, in a 2-1/2 hour hearing to discuss the
status of the ongoing evidentiary proceedings into allegations of
obstruction of justice concerning missing e-mail, the Honorable
Royce C. Lamberth stated based on the evidence, that sworn
documents and testimony provided to his Court by the Clinton-Gore
White House are false. To determine who is responsible for this,
the evidentiary proceedings will continue in order that the Court
may fashion an appropriate procedure for imposing remedies and
punishment. In this regard, former White House Counsel Charles
Ruff and Assistant White House Counsel Michelle Peterson will be
called as witnesses next week, with Peterson currently scheduled
to go on Monday. Judicial Watch lead counsel Larry Klayman made
it clear that it is important that not only lower-level officials
be held accountable for the obstruction of justice, but that
higher-ups also be held to account.
"Too often the courts have allowed lower-level Clinton-Gore
officials to take the fall for the elites, in order to protect
the establishment. While Judge Lamberth has made no decision on
how he will ultimately proceed, it is important to see how high
up in the Clinton-Gore White House the coverup goes. Only in this
way will justice be done," stated Judicial Watch Chairman and
General Counsel Larry Klayman.
A press conference will follow the day's proceedings on the
courthouse steps after the hearing.
