Au Contraire. It is sophomoric to differentiate between Nazism and Communism.
True the Bolcheviks wanted the immediate goal to be worldwide Communism.
Of course the Nazis sure as hell were not content to be "stay at home Nazis."
National SOCIALISM and communism were essentially the same concept, i.e.
STATISM. A definition of Statism which I accept is mass control via exercise of
pervasive state Police Power. Both Nazism and Communism (and socialism) certainly
fit this bill.
To call Nazism a "religion" is accurate only in the sense that Statism, i.e. Nazism,
i.e.
Socialism, i.e. Communism are all essentially theocratic in organization and concept.
Both ignore human nature and rely on a "faith based" construct of reality.
