In the article it had him saying that he based his arrest on Ms. Williams' perceived
behavior (perceived by
the cop) that her actions were such as to elicit 'a violent response'...
So it seems the cop admits to being so angered by whatever Ms. Williams was saying to
him that he felt on the
verge of reacting with a 'violent response'...
If a janitor who just wants to get on with her duties elicits that sort of reaction
from him, just imagine
what dealing with the public in the normal course of his duties results in? :-7
