Thanks Prudy - the Red Shoes, I remember that one at the end where the
spotlight was empty but the music went on.....taken from an old fairy
tale actually - and when I say fairy, I mean little people with wings of
butterflies.
So - Tales From Hoffman - think I will check that out, for all my stuff
is long play and I have no recorder now - my son's boom box sometimes
has good stuff......still like Leaving on a Jet Plane and San Francisco
- and Foreign......
Think I will track down Tales From Hoffman - wish I could find the movie
made in 50 period of that one, for it was absolutely beautiful and we
watched in Christmas Evening........
Wonder - love these Irish Tenors - taped them. Also have the Singing
Dogs.......remember them.
But Stan Freberg and the Yellow Rose of Texas I remembr how we used to
laugh at that one.

Thanks again Prudy......I have a thousand books here and my records are
boxed away...have been looking for the Ring for I do not remember who
did that one - was in 70 period when I got it.
Freberg used to sing a little song about "They're Rioting in
Africa......dah de dah de dah de....
and that guy was a scream. Must have come out with Kovacs Nairobi
Trio.
