The sexual habits of animals (with the possible exception of the Bonobo which
seems strangely like modern mankind) are governed by instinctive reaction to
various natural incentives. Basically one can claim that animals are "pure"
and mate only when so required for procreation which seems to be what
whichever higher power you claim had in mind. If our children spent a little
time watching aimals and living by jungle law, this world would be an
infinitely better place. The problem is they are watching and experiencing
their parents and neighbors, and are living by modern civil and criminal law.
