-Caveat Lector- As an interesting linguistic observation, the term 'fanny' has the same meaning here (Australia) as the term 'twat', which has a different (but not dissimilar) meaning in the USA. So you may get very strange looks from Australians if you use expressions like "Pat her on the Fanny" or "I fell on my fanny" or "I slapped my kid on the Fanny" Just so you all know.
