I don't think we can go to a system where there is NO regulation, because it is just 
asking for trouble from those who would be unscrupulous regardless.  In matters of 
health I think it is advisable to have truly independant experts evaluate the 
effectiveness and safety of all products, but that the people should STILL have the 
last word as to whether they want to try it or not.  In other words I think that if 
you want to take a drug that the FDA says is ineffective or possibly dangerous then I 
don't think they have the right to keep it from you or you from taking it.  At the 
same time there does need to be some measure of control over claims, manufacturing 
protocals, standardization, truth in labelling, etc.
