He expressed condolences at the incident and visited the injured at a hospital after the incident of the Navy destroyer USS Cole. Navy sources said it might have been an accident that occurred as the ship was stopped for refueling. An important Yemeni source has informed the Yemen Observer that a steal camera from the port authorities has documented the explosion of the US ship. The source added that the tape clearly dismisses the belief that a blast (An explosive-laden rubber) boat did not coil with the ship causing the explosion. Yemen has declared its full cooperation with all concerned authorities to investigate the incident. Meanwhile the security committee is working round the clock to invistigate the incident.
