This is a strange posting, but I think if one puts the words George Bush (not
W) in place of Clinton, we can come closer to something really interesting.
Just the other day, someone on television (C-SPAN I think), was talking about
how lucky we were all going to be if Dubya got in. We would have the
expertise of (here a long list of people from the Reagan and Bush years) to
run things. I noticed that most of the guys who were indicted and then
pardoned by Reagan and bush were not included. In some ways it has been as
if the Republicans never left office. They spent eight years subverting the
Democrats, and now they hope to get back to what they were doing before.
