Good story about the ongoing unofficial recount in Florida.
Newspapers filed FOIAs for ballots. Recount shows Gore is
leading. Some say Gore will win Florida by 23,000. What does
this have to do with the environment?
"in the most extreme example of the Bush camp's desperation to
avoid a recount, the new director of the Environment Protection
Agency, Christine Todd Whitman, has proposed that the Florida
ballots be sealed for 10 years."
Now what does this say for right-to-know and our access to other
"sensitive" information in the future?
