I'm pretty certain that Merlin Stone is a woman.

Did you know that Giardano Bruno was burned at the
stake in 1600 by the Church for, among other things,
agreeing with Gallileo and insisting that there were
infinite other worlds. Much brilliant science
fiction has been written around this concept. In fact,
I am currently reading such a book which has won
many, many literary awards-- a series, actually, of
which the first book is called The Golden Compass.
One of those children's books "or all ages." A
marvelous adventure. If there is a portal near me, I do
hope I find it.

Also, my dogs announce the arrival of just about
anyone who's coming here before their car turns the
corner. So I guess they know something I don't know.
I respect that they are trying to tell me things, even
when I can't grasp just what that might be. But,
yeah, I'd say we communicate psychically. Or, at
least, they do and I am uusually a bit denser, but
striving to get better at it.

There is much scholarly evidence to suggest that
springs in Britain and Europe that were once sacred
to the Goddess or goddesses were later used as sites
for churches when the local folks could not be
disuaded from worship there. In fact, Mary had to be
elevated to accommodate beliefs that just wouldn't
go away. I am not prepared to site my sources since I
did my research many years ago. However, apart
from the authors Nessie suggests there is also
Robert Graves "The White Goddess" and an
incredibly well- documented book by a late Florida
librarian called The First Sex. In doing my research, I
followed her notes and bibliography. It's all out there.
