The African theory is deeply flawed, however it is primary scientific dogma these days
so anyone coming up with conflicting evidence is treated most disdainfully by the
scientific world.
The oldest human footprint was found in Africa. Therefore modern man must have evolved
only in Africa and spread out all over the globe. If an earlier footprint was found in
New Zealand, they would say that man started in NZ and colonised the rest of the
world. There are elaborate flow charts and maps demonstrating how man migrated from
Africa over the millennia. Unfortunately they are all speculation. There are human
remains in Australia which have been carbon dated to 200,000 BC. While there are
legitimate questions about whether the carbon dating may have been flawed, the remains
are still far older than anything else found so far.
If spacemen in the future are studying mankind and find a McDonalds in China, they
will then produce a map showing how the small number of Chinese McDonalds franchises
spread all over the world and multiplied astoundingly. This is the methodology used by
the out of Africa theorists.
