Bill,
Actually, I got it from watching/listening to the actual hearings as I am not leaving my house until my Westie has her first litter of puppies.  The criminal was represented by a multi-partnered law firm with prior experience in capitol cases and an excellent reputation. He was well represented but apparently White did not like the verdict. There was a preponderance of overwhelming evidence like the eight year old girl who watched the accused shoot her mother and other eyewitnesses. BTW, if you have any url's for that right-wing press to which you refer, will you please send them to me?

What a HUGE statement of your lack of understanding of the issue involved
regarding the whole White debacle.
NOBODY EVER said that the criminal involved was a great guy, was innocent OR
was undeserving of the death penalty...what White DID maintain was that the
criminal, like ALL AMERICANS deserved a FAIR TRIAL and a COMPETENT
defense...that's ALL he said, but you won't hear that in the right-wing,
pro-Ashcroft press that you seem to rely upon.

Bill.
