Clinton Accuser Sharlene Wilson on Ministry Tour of Thanks

She spent seven years behind bars after telling a federal grand
jury what she knew about an Arkansas drug conspiracy, testimony
that featured her eyewitness account of Bill Clinton's cocaine
use.

But now she's got a new life.

Sharlene Wilson has remarried since winning parole from an
Arkansas prison last year, where she became a born-again
Christian. And this month she and her husband are touring
California, thanking God and all the supporters who stood by her
during the dark years.

"Everybody has been so wonderful," said Wilson (now Sharlene
Wilson-Jacobs) in an exclusive interview with NewsMax.com. "We've
been well received just about everywhere we've been."

For the last week, she and husband Bryson Jacobs have appeared
around the state as part of a spiritual outreach program they
call Gloryland Ministries.

The couple remarried last September, nine months after Arkansas
Governor Mike Huckabee commuted Sharlene's sentence, making her
eligible for parole. Bryson, another wayward soul caught up in
the swirl of the 1980's Arkansas drug scene, became born-again
while behind bars as well.

"I just want to thank everybody for their many, many years of
support while I was incarcerated and I want them to know I'm very
grateful," Sharlene told NewsMax.com.

In the last week alone Sharlene and Bryson have spoken to a two
churches and a Christian Coalition gathering in Hemet, Calif.,
and to two California Republican Assembly groups in Long Beach
and Arcadia.

"In Long Beach so many people showed up they couldn't fit them
all in," Sharlene said. "It made me feel so blessed."

After years leading a drug-ravaged life, another blessing is the
return of her singing talent. "I'm now a vocalist for my
ministry," Sharlene announced. "I said, 'Lord, if you will
restore my voice, I'll sing only music unto you.' And he really
did give me my voice back."

More than 200 people turned out for the Bryson-Jacobs' first
California appearance, which was organized by Los Angeles talk
radio host Jane Chastain. Chastain championed Sharlene during her
lonely years behind bars, and she returned the favor by phoning
with regular updates on her case.

Last Saturday Chastain, Sharlene and Bryson gave an update on
"The Judicial Watch Report" radio show. She doesn't like to dwell
on her past as one-time coke supplier to Arkansas' first family,
but after some prodding Sharlene revisited the story that has
made her a legend to Clinton scandal buffs.

Here's the exchange with Judicial Watch's Larry Klayman and Tom
Fitton.

FITTON: Explain to us, Sharlene. Give us the circumstances in
which you witnessed Bill Clinton's drug use.

WILSON-JACOBS: Which time? I'll give you one in particular....

KLAYMAN: How many times did you witness it approximately?

WILSON-JACOBS: How many times? Ah....

KLAYMAN: Him snorting up.

WILSON-JACOBS: Well, defintely more than once, and he did inhale.

As Chastain and Wilson-Jacobs noted, recent developments have
added an element of irony to the case.

While she did hard time for possession of less than $100 of
marijuana and methamphetamine, Californian Carlos Vignale, who
was convicted of a conspiracy to sell 800 lbs of cocaine, had his
jail sentence commuted by President Clinton.

"I'm just going to ask you one brief question right at the
moment," Chastain told Sharlene on-the-air. "Were you patiently
awaiting one of those pardons?"

"No, I was not," Wilson-Jacobs laughed.

She said Friday she's not at angry with Clinton over the
discrepancy between her treatment and Vignale's, saying that her
comments had been misinterpreted in a prior NewsMax.com report.

"We were just laughing about the fact that I got such an
excessive sentence while some folks who Clinton pardoned were
major drug dealers," she explained. "It was just a joke. The last
thing I ever expected was to get a pardon," Sharlene said.

Her spirituality -- plus a decade's worth of watching Bill
Clinton wriggle off one hook after another from her jail cell --
has made Wilson-Jacobs philospohical about life's injustices.

"The Lord will deal with Mr. Clinton's sins," she told
NewsMax.com. "I don't have to say or do anything. What he is, is
pretty apparent."

And so these days Sharlene prefers not to discuss the dark
corners of her past, and concentrates instead on the new outlook
that helped her endure the hard times.

"Tell your readers we would love to hear from people who need
prayer requests or want us to visit their church. No gathering is
too small or too large for us."

Sharlene and her husband will be appearing this Sunday, 10 a.m.,
at His Nesting Place chapel in Long Beach and at the First
Southern Baptist Chuch of Bueno Park at 6 p.m. The public is
invited.
