Here's another one along this line.
A motorist was stopped by state troopers for not dimming his lights to
oncoming traffic, resisted arrest and was then booked for the light
infraction and for DWI (unproved) he was then sent to the county jail for
not coming up with the $1500 in bail. Small upstate New York town.
