read his work before you judge his remarks without the context of having
read his novels and understood that in his descriptions of the utter
corruption by individuals within a beautiful system, gore vidal has a vision
of a republic where the individuals within are noble and sincerely working
for the people. he is an idealist and loves america. your insistance on
disliking him for his "attacks" on the kennedys is because you seem to rely
on the celebrity rather than on the beauty of the system that has been
corrupted allowing families to run your country. you love the dynasty and
vidal loves the ideal of the republic.
your obsession about gays is shocking. god only knows what your thought
sequences are like- most gays don't even write about gays as much as you do!
it must be in your head and emotions so often- it must be really sweaty
inside that brain.
