Nobody is trying to kill off 4 billion people. This is paranoid bullshit.

There is no overpopulation. There is only bad planning.

This statement is absolutely true and correct.

And how do you suggest " we " do that? Who will be in charge? The Chinese?

Then we should develop an economic system which makes it desirable NOT
to live in hordes which only benefit the rich. Cities are overcrowded because
that's where the jobs are. Between cities / suburbs, are VAST empty spaces.
Dump Capitalism. Organize a diverse economy. And see the difference.

This is true. But it does not yet apply to humans on a worldwide scale. It
does apply to many local populations on the planet. Mexico City. Bombay.
NY. LA. DC. Cairo. China, India. There is PLENTY of space for all these
people. There are also plenty of resources if you liberate them from the
control of the rich.

I'm surprised at you Nessie. You are usually more logical. You don't know
the carrying capacity of the Earth. No one does. But it is quite clear that
this planet has a much greater carrying capacity than six billion humans. I
have seen conservative estimations of 12 billion with a well managed economic
system based on sanity and not personal greed.

Unfortunately, I must agree with you. It will only prove Darwin right yet again.
Homo Sapiens Sapien has devolved into Homo Economicus, and Homo Economicus is
clearly too stupid and too greedy to survive.
Maybe fugi will be succesful. Until they develop private enterprise.
